Exam exemptions based on attendance (three or less absences in any one class for the semester) will be available at the end of the day on Friday, December 20th. Grade exemptions (B- or better in all classes both marking periods) will be given out their first day back on Monday, January 6th. Students who earn exemptions based on one of these criteria can exempt up to two exams. Seniors who were proficient on their state testing last spring can exempt all exams first semester. Those students will be notified by the counseling office this week.

If your student is exempting exams and plans to go home, the office will need a note. Any students who are exempting and staying will be in the cafeteria to study for upcoming exams.

Please encourage your student to use their time wisely this week and get all of their missing assignments in before they leave for break. If you have any questions, feel free to call the high school office at 426-7341. We hope you have a great holiday break and enjoy spending time with your families!
