    Hello, GHS families:

First, I must say I miss all of you, just as I am sure you miss all of your friends and teachers. This year definitely has not been typical, and with the start of distance learning we are all learning together. Our teachers have been hard at work getting Google Classrooms set up for Math, Science, English, Social Studies, and Health and Fitness along with collecting materials for packets for students and families who may not have access online.

Packets will be available for pickup at the high school starting on Friday. The packets will be available throughout the week. When picking up the packets, please be sure to practice social distancing. If someone ispicking up theri materials, stay in your car and wait. There will be a station with mailboxes labeled for 9th through 12th grades with the materials for the week inside.

For online learners, teachers have begun to get their lessons into their Google Classrooms. Students either already have their codes from earlier in the year or teachers will email you the class codes for you and your student to be able to access the the classes.

The work is not required, will not be graded, and none of it needs to be returned. The work we are providing is meant to bridge the gap between now and when school starts back up again. The value of the work is in learning and continuing to be engaged with their teachers and each other. Our staff has put an enormous amount of thought and effort into changing how they teach very quickly to make this happen. We highly encourage your student to participate in our distance learning.

Contact information for the teachers and myself are available on the packets and online. Please feel free to contact us with any questions.

    With Gladwin Pride,
