Charting a Path Forward: School District Funding & Facility Planning Forum

Gladwin Community Schools would like to extend an invitation to attend an upcoming event, “Charting a Path Forward: School District Funding & Facility Planning Forum.” The forum will be an opportunity to come together as a community and engage about discussions about the future of our schools.

During this half hour meeting, we will discuss what an Operational Millage is, have participants fill out a school perception survey and ask participants to help us get the message out regarding the Operational Millage.

The agenda for the evening will include;

I. An overview of current funding for our District and how an Operating Millage renewal impacts our yearly budget.

II. Complete a School Perception Survey

III. Give a brief outline of what our next meeting in September will look like focusing on facilities.

Again, your participation will be crucial in creating a plan made by our community which creates a roadmap for success for students in our schools.
