Plastics Visit

GHS students from our Design and Engineering classes, along with other interested students, visited Ferris State University on October 21st. Marc Guske, Program Coordinator and professor, welcomed the students at the National Elastomer Center. Jason Daday, Head of Admissions, talked to kids about campus life and admissions. Students went on a tour of the Plastics and Rubber Engineering facility in small groups where FSU students, including some GHS alumni, led the tour and discussions. Students also had some science demos about polymers, toured the Manufacturing Program facility and Maker Space, and finished with lunch at The Rock dining center for free.  The visit allows our students to explore different career options related to engineering and manufacturing. Ferris State University hosts our tour annually. Thank you so much to FSU for welcoming GHS!
