Principal's Corner
Dear Students and Families:
Welcome to Gladwin Junior High for the 2024-2025 school year! This year holds exciting and unique opportunities for every student. Our dedicated staff at GJH is committed to supporting your child academically, socially, emotionally, and behaviorally. We strive to encourage each student to excel in all school activities, whether it's celebrating achievements, overcoming challenges, or learning from mistakes. At Gladwin Junior High, we believe every day is a fresh start.
We want our parents to feel welcomed and involved in our school community. If you're interested in volunteering, please complete a form available at the main office or on our website using this link. You can also reach out to Principal Dave Mausolf for more information. A strong partnership between home and school is key, so we encourage you to attend school events, sports games, and parent-teacher conferences. If visiting the school during the day isn't possible, we invite you to stay connected with our staff through phone calls, Skyward, texts, or emails. Our staff is eager to engage with you through these channels. For your convenience, a staff directory is included in this handbook.
Please be aware that while we've made every effort to include essential information in this handbook, not all rules and regulations can be covered in a document like this. The administration reserves the right to modify any section of this handbook to ensure the smooth operation of the school. We prioritize the educational process and may enforce discipline for actions not explicitly mentioned here. This handbook is meant to be a helpful reference for both students and their families. We are thrilled to have you as part of the Gladwin family.
